Pale yellow tablet with groove on one side to split it.
The tablets can be split into equal halves or quarters.
Indications for use, specifying the target species
In dogs: Treatment of mixed infestations by nematodes and cestodes of the following species
Ascarids: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina (adults and advanced immature forms).
Hookworms: Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum (adults).
Tricides: Trichuris vulpis (adults).
Tapeworm: Echinococcus spp., (E. granulosus, E. multilocularis), Taenia spp., (T. Hydatigena, T. pisiformis, T. taeniformis), Dipylidium caninum (adults and immature forms).
Do not use simultaneously with piperazine compounds.
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active substances, or to any of the excipients.
Special warnings for each target species
Fleas act as an intermediate host for a common type of tapeworm: Dipylidium caninum. Tapeworm infestation will be repeated safely unless control of intermediate hosts (fleas, mice, etc.) is carried out.
Tapeworm infestation is unlikely in puppies less than 6 weeks old.
The resistance of the parasite to some particular class of anthelmintic can be developed using an anthelmintic of that kind frequently and repeatedly.
