Renal function, hydration status, and serum electrolytes should be monitored:
At the start of treatment
From 24 hours to 48 hours after the start of treatment
From 24 hours to 48 hours after dosing change
In case of adverse reactions
While the animal is being treated, these parameters will be monitored at very regular intervals according to the benefit-risk assessment performed by the responsible veterinarian.
UpCard tablets can be administered with or without food.
The recommended dose of torasemide is 0.1 to 0.6 mg / kg once daily.
Most dogs are stabilized at a dose less than or equal to 0.3 mg / kg / SID.
Increase or decrease the dose as necessary for each clinical case, always looking for the minimum effective dose.
